Expansion of priority groups to receive H1N1 vaccine
and Vaccination Clinic Times
- Our priority groups continue to include:
- Health Care Providers
- Emergency Responders
- Pregnant women
- New priority group
added:
- Persons that live with or care for an infant
younger than 6 months of age
- Includes all household members of the infant
- Includes all other children at the daycare of the
infant
- Reminder:
- Children between the ages of 6 months to 9 years
old will need a booster of the vaccine not sooner than 28 days apart
- Clinics
- Adults can come to get their vaccine Monday through
Friday 8am to 4pm
- Please bring your children that fall in the above
category from 1pm to 4pm on Monday 10/19 through
Friday 10/23
- If you are unable to make it during these times, we
will have some evening clinics in the future
As we receive more vaccine, the following priority groups will be added
to include:
- School aged children
- Children 6 months old up to school aged
- Adults 18-24 years old
- Adults 25-64 years old with a chronic medical
condition
In the coming months there should be enough H1N1 vaccine for all those
in these risk groups, and perhaps enough for anyone who wants it.
